Overview
IC Schematics Studio is a small web-based tool I built for my own study and technical documentation workflow. It focuses on a specific problem: sometimes I only need to explain a circuit clearly in a note, report or presentation
Why I built it
Full IC design environments support schematic capture, simulation and later design stages. Launching an entire EDA environment can feel heavy when all I need is a diagram. General drawing tools work too, but device appearance, spacing and visual consistency often need more manual work
Current focus
- Draw circuit schematics directly in the browser
- Adjust canvas, grid, colors and device presentation
- Save and revisit previous drawings
- Create and reuse custom device symbols
- Prepare diagrams for notes, technical documentation and presentations
Scope and limitations
The tool is primarily for schematic illustration and technical communication. It does not perform electrical simulation, design-rule checking or circuit-performance verification. Actual circuit design and verification still require appropriate EDA tools
